Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Major in Marketing and a Minor in Management Information Systems.    She started her career in 2002 at a small financial and insurance brokerage firm in Cary, NC where she obtained her Insurance License, Series 7 and Series 24 in order to become VP of Operations. 

In 2005 Erin was a finalist on a local business reality show called Entrepreneurs, after six months of business related competitions and filming she walked away as the victor with the first distributorship for EventsLeader.com.  EventsLeader.com was deemed to be a bigger and better CitySearch.com, Erin spent over a year working with the founder / producer continuing to build the startup.  In late 2006 she was offered an opportunity to join the sales team at Hosted Solutions, an infrastructure as a service hosting provider in Raleigh, NC.  She has been with them over 3 years and has been awarded with “Outstanding Performance” in 2008 and “Most Improved” in 2007.  She is their Client Account Manager handling over 350 customer accounts in all three of their data center markets, Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, and Boston, MA. 

Erin played soccer from an early age, her Senior year in High School at Northwood High School in Pittsboro, NC she was named MVP for her soccer team and cross country team, she was also named Player of the Year for Chatham County and Athlete of the Year for the school.  In college she continued to play on the club soccer team and still plays recreational soccer in her spare time.  She realized that her experience playing soccer over the years taught her valuable life lessons like respect, sportsmanship, teamwork,and  perseverance.  Over the years Erin has searched for a charity that focused on her passion for less advantaged children and soccer.  In August 2008 she decided to use her entrepreneurial skills to create the charity herself, Soccer Kids of America.  She was able to create the charity without initial funding through her ability to create business partnerships with Eurosport/Soccer.com, Passback.org, Preation, iContact, Hosted Solutions, Carolina Railhawks, NCID, and GoToMeeting.
