April 10th Update:

Soccer Kids of America will kick off the Spring season at three elementary schools in Durham and Wake counties, NC.


April 7th Update:

DC United is using the SKA program in 12 economically disadvantaged communities this Spring season.


March 25th Update:

New online volunteer training videos are complete and available via the Soccer Kids of America YouTube Channel.  Thank you to Mark Schulte, Defender for the Carolina Railhawks!


January 1st Update:

December 1st Update:

Change Happens Foundation awards SKA their first official grant!


November 14th Update:

SKA rallied friends and family to help with a car wash fundraiser.  Despite cold, windy weather conditions the car wash was a success.  Thank you to our intern Kristin from NC State for organizing the fundraiser and thank you to Chick-fil-a off Capital Blvd in Raleigh, NC.


September 19th Update:

SKA partnered with Athletes for Hope and Yael Averbuch of Sky Blue Women's Professional Soccer Team.  Yael visited elementary schools in Durham, NC to increase awareness of the Soccer Kids of America program. 


August 28th Update:

Dr. Stephanie Diaz of Cumberland University visited Raleigh, NC to help train volunteers for the Fall 2009 season.  Dr. Diaz and Dr. Brian Greenwood have volunteered their services and revamped the SKA curriculum.  Dr. Diaz worked diligently all summer to create a SKA coaches manual and Dr. Greenwood provided SKA with measurements to determine the impact the SKA program has on our at-risk youth participants.


July 20th Update:

Nationaly recognized CASL (Capital Area Soccer League) has agreed to partner with SKA and will donate equipment, provide volunteers will grant scholarships to graduates of the character building program who need financial assistance.  They are setting the bar for all other youth leagues around the country.

July 12th update:

Matthew Johnson takes 9th place finish in international rally, Corona Mexico Rally, Rally of Nations 2009. Leon, Mexico.

June 2nd Update:

Durham, NC based family Photographer creates charity fundraiser to benefit four charities including Soccer Kids of America!  Donate $200 to charity of your choice and receive free family photography session!

May 21st Update:

May 20th Update:

Soccer Kids of America gets mention on the Carolina RailHawks Professional Soccer Team website.  Check out their Community Involvement Initiatives!


April 22nd Update:

X Games Competitor and Rally Driver Matthew Johnson debuted the Soccer Kids of America logo on his race car in Olympia, WA.


April 16th Update:
Soccer Kids of America kicks off it's first lesson at Brentwood Elementary with 22 children in attendance.  Carolina Railhawks' Mark Shulte and Joseph Kabwe prove to be a great asset to the program. 
February 9th Update:
Soccer Kids of America launched website on Preation's Eden Platform service, a web-based website content management system that increases traffic to your website by doing search engine optimization for you.
February 3rd Update:
Soccer Kids of America partners with Eurosport / and for equipment to deliver the pilot program.
